For every car rental pick-up at Keflavik Airport, we're delighted to offer free transportation to our car rental office, just a 5-minute drive away.

Wait for your shuttle outside the departure hall.

Our shuttle runs back and forth between our office and the airport depending on the client's arrival. Please provide your flight number a few days before your rental so we can track your arrival time and ensure a smooth pick-up.

Estimated Arrival Time: Typically, customs and luggage collection take about 45 minutes. You can expect to reach our office within an hour of your flight landing.

Airport Pick-Up from 10 pm to 4:30 am

Eligibility

At Lava Car Rental, you can pick up the car outside of opening hours (from 10 pm to 4:30 am) with the self-service option. If you've booked your vehicle with the Full Protection package on our website, require a pick-up outside of opening hours, and have completed online check-in, you are eligible for pick-up between 10 pm and 4:30 am. Please remember that online check-in closes 8 hours before pick-up. For further information about the Self-Service, visit this page.

Pick-Up Process Outside of Opening Hours with Self-Service

The pick-up process remains the same as during the day. You'll be transported to our office to retrieve your keys from a keybox using the code provided via email. Locate your car in the parking lot and hit the road. More info about the self-service here.
